New Layout Section
Zukaina Al-Mohamed
Hello, I'm the editor for the Human Writes blog, and I'm currently in the process of creating a new format for the blog. I want to request a new feature that allows for a layout within a layout. The first layout would split the page into three parts (2 side by side and one at the bottom). The second layout would be inside one of the side by side parts, and it would split into three components (one at the top and 2 side by side). I've attached drawings of my idea. I think this would help UMN faculty with access to DrupaLite to create more engaging sites that are also easier to access for the user. The Human Writes blog hosts different features that we'd like to highlight on the same page or our readers will have a difficult time finding recently published pieces. Thank you!

Zukaina Al-Mohamed You can stack multiple layouts on a page. You could build this with the "Bartlett Flipped" layout over "Boxton" or "Rolph", but you would need to give your faculty instructions on how to set it up. I have a demo at https://drupallite.cfans.umn.edu/layout-test
It's possible to use multiple views to populate some of these sections with blog post teasers, but that takes more work to set things up.
